Rental

Security Deposit and Rental Fee

  • Security Deposit: $350.00, required at reservation and contract signing.
  • Rental Fee: $350.00, payable no later than two weeks before the rental date.

Rental Times

  • Saturday: After 5:30 pm. Guests should not arrive earlier than this time.
  • Sunday: After 2:00 pm.

Additional details and arrangements will be discussed before signing the contract.

Catering

  • Requirement: All facility rentals must use O.C.S.C.’s catering service for meals.
  • Price Per Plate: Based on menu selection and guest count (minimum 100 guests). Reducing the guest count will affect the price per plate.
  • Minimum Head Count: Must be finalized at least two weeks before the rental date.
  • Included: Plastic plates and utensils.
  • Optional: China plates, cloth table coverings, etc., available at an additional charge.

Contact the caterer directly four to six weeks before the rental date to set up an appointment for menu selection.

Liquor

  • Bartender Fees: Not included in the rental or catering agreements.
  • Liquor License: O.C.S.C. holds a state-issued “Class C” liquor license. All liquor must be purchased through our bar.

General Information

  • Capacity: 300 people without a dance floor, 170-180 with a dance floor (the bar seats 60).
  • Payment: All payments for hall rental, bar orders, catering, and other charges must be made at least two weeks before the rental date.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Refunds minus a $100.00 cancellation fee if written notice is received 120 days prior to the rental date.
    • No refund for cancellations less than 120 days before the rental date.
    • A 25% service charge may be assessed for cancellations received 30 days or less before the rental date.

Decorations

  • Decorations can be put up after 11:00 am on Saturday and after 2:00 pm on Sunday.
  • Prohibited:
    • Attaching decorations to the ceiling with nails, tacks, or staples.
    • Using confetti, glitter, bird seed, rice, etc.
    • Free-standing candles (only floating or globed candles are allowed).

Additional Guidelines

  • DJ Restrictions: No smoke machines. Equipment can be set up after 11:00 am on the rental day and must be removed at the event’s conclusion.
  • Rented Items: Cake stands, live plants, card boxes, archways, etc., must be removed at the event’s conclusion unless prior arrangements are made.

The Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club is not responsible for any items left overnight.
